Resumen: Se elabora un listado comentado de las especies de la subfamilia de microlepidópteros Ethmiinae Busk, 1909 (Lepidoptera, Depressariidae) presentes en O Courel (Lugo, Galicia, España, N.O. Península Ibérica), añadiéndose también registros de otras partes de Galicia. Entre las citas aportadas se incluyen las primeras para Galicia de Ethmia dodecea (Haworth, 1828), Ethmia pusiella (Linnaeus, 1758) y Ethmia aurifluella (Hübner, [1810]), así como otras nueve novedades provinciales.

Abstract: An annotated list of the microlepidoptera subfamily Ethmiinae Busk, 1909 (Lepidoptera, Depressariidae) from O Courel (Lugo, Galicia, Spain, NW Iberian Peninsula) is made, adding also records from other parts of Galicia. Amongst the reported records, the first ones for Galicia of Ethmia dodecea (Hawirth, 1828), Ethmia pusiella (Linnaeus, 1758) and Ethmia aurifluella (Hübner, [1810]) are included, as well as another nine new provincial records.

Resumen: Puesta al día del catálogo de la familia Elateridae en la Península Ibérica e Islas Baleares, con la actualización de la sistemática de las especies inventariadas y la incorporación de nuevas citas y localizaciones que amplían su distribución. Se incluyen nuevas localizaciones de 39 de las especies inventariadas, se eliminan 4 especies, 3 por sinonimia y una trasladada a la familia Omalisidae, y se incorporan 4 nuevas especies descritas recientemente Se propone una nueva sinonimia de Cardiophorus exaratus Erichson, 1840. Se comenta la validez nomenclatural de Dendrometrinae Gistel, 1848.

Abstract: In this paper the catalogue of the family Elateridae in the Iberian Peninsula and Balearic Islands is presented, updating the systematics of the inventoried species and adding new records and locations enlarging their distribution. New localities for 39 species of this catalogue are included, being discarded 4 species, 3 by synonymy and 1 for being moved to the family Omalisidae, and 4 new species recently described are added. A new synonymy for Cardiophorus exaratus Erichson, 1840 is proposed. The nomenclatural validity of Dendrometrinae Gistel, 1848 is commented.

Resumen: Se recopilan datos faunísticos de trece especies de la familia Rhopalidae Amyot & Serville, 1843 registrados en la Comunidad Autónoma de Galicia (N.O. de la Península Ibérica). Rhopalus (Rhopalus) distinctus (Signoret, 1859), Rhopalus (Rhopalus) parumpunctatus Schilling, 1829, Rhopalus (Rhopalus) rufus Schilling, 1829 y Stictopleurus synavei Göllner-Scheiding, 1975 se citan de Galicia por primera vez. Además, se aportan también once citas nuevas provinciales de otras cuatro especies.

Abstract: Faunistic data of thirteen species from Galicia (NW Iberian Peninsula) belonging to the family Rhopalidae Amyot & Serville, 1843 are compiled. Rhopalus (Rhopalus) distinctus (Signoret, 1859), Rhopalus (Rhopalus) parumpunctatus Schilling, 1829, Rhopalus (Rhopalus) rufus Schilling, 1829 and Stictopleurus synavei Göllner-Scheiding, 1975 are recorded from Galicia for the first time. Resumen: Se aportan nuevos datos sobre la presencia de los Pselaphinae mirmecófilos Batrisus formicarius Aubé, 1833 y Claviger (Clavifer) piochardi piochardi Saulcy, 1874 en la provincia de Lugo (Galicia, España). Se cita por primera vez a Lasius grandis Forel, 1909 como hospedante de C. (C.) piochardi piochardi. Se comenta su distribución, biología y relación con su hospedante. Se acompaña el habitus de las dos especies y del Formicidae hospedante de C. (C.) piochardi piochardi.

Abstract: New data on the presence of the myrmecophilous Pselaphinae Batrisus formicarius Aubé, 1833 and Claviger (Clavifer) piochardi piochardi Saulcy, 1874 in the province of Lugo (Galicia, Spain) are given. Lasius grandis Forel, 1909 is reported for the first time as host of C. (C.) piochardi piochardi. Their distribution, biology and relationship with its host is discussed. The habitus of the two species and the Claviger’s ant host are also given.

Abstract: Ethmia andalusica Staudinger, 1879 (Lepidoptera: Depressariidae, Ethmiinae) is reported for the first time from Galicia (NW Iberian Peninsula), so the occurrence of six species belonging to this genus in this region is confirmed.

Resumen: Durante el estudio de la composición específica del género Ernobius C.G. Thomson, 1859 (Coleoptera: Ptinidae: Ernobiinae) presente en la Península Ibérica e Islas Baleares, se han observado ciertas discrepancias entre la descripción original y el ejemplar holotipo de E. vinolasi Novoa & Baselga, 2000 depositado en el Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales de Madrid, lo que ha obligado a efectuar una revisión de dicha especie y a su comparación con otras europeas. Se ha podido constatar, tanto por los caracteres externos como por la configuración del edeago, que la especie es indiferenciable del holotipo de E. fulvus C. Johnson, 1975 depositado en el Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona. Al estar el género estrechamente relacionado con resinosas, se comenta la evolución del arbolado en la localidad típica, las Islas Cíes (Pontevedra, Galicia). Se acompaña el habitus del macho de E. fulvus, así como detalle de las antenas y el edeago. Finalmente, también se comenta su distribución y biología conocida.

Abstract: During the study of the specific composition of the genus Ernobius C.G. Thomson, 1859 (Coleoptera: Ptinidae: Ernobiinae) in the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands, certain discrepancies have been observed between the original description and the holotype of E. vinolasi Novoa & Baselga, 2000 deposited in the Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales of Madrid, which has forced to make a review of this species and to its comparison with other European ones. It has been confirmed, both by the external characters and by the configuration of aedeagus that the species is indistinguishable from the holotype of E. fulvus C. Johnson, 1975 deposited in the Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona. Since the genus is closely related to resinous trees, the evolution of these trees in the typical locality, the Cíes Islands, is commented. The habitus of the male of E. fulvus, as well as detail of the antennae and the aedeagus are figured. Finally, its distribution and known biology are discussed. Resumo: Ofrécense novos datos sobre algúns mirmecófilos galegos, entre os que se poden destacar Microdon myrmicae Schönrogge et al., 2002 (Diptera: Syrphidae), citada por primeira vez para España e con Myrmica aloba Forel, 1909 (Hymenoptera: Formicidae) como hospedeiro, e Coccinella magnifica Redtenbacher, 1843 (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae), atopada por primeira vez en Galicia e asociada a Formica pratensis Retzius, 1783 (Hymenoptera: Formicidae). Por outra banda, Microdon analis (Macquart, 1842) identificouse polo pupario, e atopouse nun niño de Lasius platythorax Seifert, 1991. Haeterius ferrugineus (Olivier, 1789) (Coleoptera: Histeridae) cítase por primeira vez na provincia de Lugo.

Península Ibérica) recopilando los datos bibliográficos existentes (para cinco especies), a los que se añaden otros nuevos como resultado del trabajo de campo del autor, alcanzando un total de diez especies. Entre los nuevos registros aportados incluimos los primeros de Adscita jordani (Naufock, 1921) y Zygaena filipendulae (Linnaeus, 1758) para la provincia de Lugo. Incluimos también nuevas citas de Zygaenidae de otras localidades del resto del territorio gallego, entre las que aportamos las primeras de Adscita jordani para la provincia de A Coruña, así como de Jordanita notata (Zeller, 1847) y Zygaena hippocrepidis (Hübner, 1796) para la de Ourense.

Resumen: En este trabajo se citan por primera vez de España tres dípteros: Sapromyza nitida Czerny, 1932 (Lauxaniidae), Periscelis fugax Roháček & Andrade, 2017 (Periscelididae) y Fannia clara Collin, 1939 (Fanniidae). El material fue capturado mediante trampas de cerveza en la provincia de Lugo (Galicia, N.O. España).

Abstract: In this paper three dipterans are recorded for the first time from Spain: Sapromyza nitida Czerny, 1932 (Lauxaniidae), Periscelis fugax Roháček & Andrade, 2017 (Periscelididae), and Fannia clara Collin, 1939 (Fanniidae). The material was collected by means of beer traps in the province of Lugo (Galicia, NW Spain).

Resumen: Se cita por primera vez Calopteryx haemorrhoidalis (Vander Linden, 1825) (Odonata: Calopterygidae) en las provincias de León y Zamora (Castilla y León), describiéndose tanto la presencia de una población aislada de la especie en la subcuenca del río Sil (León) como la existencia de pequeñas poblaciones en la parte española de la cuenca del Duero (Zamora-Salamanca). Complementariamente se referencia también la existencia de una población de la especie en aguas interiores de la subcuenca del río Ulla en las provincias de Pontevedra y A Coruña (Galicia).

Abstract: Calopteryx haemorrhoidalis (Vander Linden, 1825) (Odonata: Calopterygidae) is recorded for the first time in the provinces of León and Zamora (Castilla y León), being described the presence of an isolated population of the species in the sub-basin of the Sil River (León) and the existence of small populations in the Spanish side of the Duero River basin (Zamora-Salamanca). In addition, the occurrence of a population in inland waters of the Ulla River sub-basin in the provinces of Pontevedra and A Coruña (Galicia,) is also presented.

Resumen: Se elabora un catálogo comentado y puesto al día de los Zygaenidae (Lepidoptera) presentes en Galicia (España, N.O. Península Ibérica), recopilando los datos bibliográficos existentes y añadiendo otros nuevos como resultado mayormente del trabajo de campo del autor. Entre los nuevos registros aportados se incluyen los primeros de Zygaena lonicerae (Scheven, 1777) para Galicia, y de Jordanita hispanica (Alberti, 1937) y Zygaena sarpedon (Hübner, 1790) para la provincia de Lugo.

Abstract: An updated and annotated catalogue of the Zygaenidae (Lepidoptera) known to occur in Galicia (Spain, NW Iberian Peninsula) is made, compiling the existing bibliographical data and adding new records mainly as a result of the fieldwork undertaken by the author. Amongst the new records, the first ones of Zygaena lonicerae (Scheven, 1777) for Galicia, and Jordanita hispanica (Alberti, 1937) and Zygaena sarpedon (Hübner, 1790) for the province of Lugo, are reported.

Resumen: Se comunican nuevos datos de dos especies de colémbolos ibéricos que constituyen infestaciones domésticas en Nigrán, Pontevedra. Se acompañan imágenes de estas especies: Ceratophysella engadinensis (Gisin, 1949), que es nueva cita para la provincia de Pontevedra, y Folsomides centralis (Denis, 1931), que se cita por primera vez en la Península Ibérica.

Abstract: New data of two species of Iberian springtails constituting domestic infestations in Nigrán, Pontevedra are reported. These species are illustrated: Ceratophysella engadinensis (Gisin, 1949) which is new record for the province of Pontevedra and Folsomides centralis (Denis, 1931) reported for the first time in the Iberian Peninsula.

Resumen: Se revisa la distribución de Thecla betulae (Linnaeus, 1758) (Lepidoptera, Lycaenidae) en Galicia (NO España), aportándose 45 registros inéditos de la especie, correspondiendo la mayoría a huevos. La especie apareció ampliamente distribuida en la mayor parte de Galicia, desde el nivel del mar hasta los 1.230 m de altitud, pero parece ausente en la franja costera de las Rías Baixas. Como planta nutricia se ha confirmado únicamente Prunus spinosa L., 1753.

Abstract: The distribution of Thecla betulae (Linnaeus, 1758) (Lepidoptera, Lycaenidae) in Galicia (NW Spain) is reviewed and 45 unpublished records of the species are provided, most of them corresponding to eggs. The species has been found to be widely distributed over most of Galicia, from sea level to 1.230 m altitude, but seems to be absent from the Rías Baixas coastal strip. As foodplant, only Prunus spinosa L., 1753 has been confirmed.

Resumo: Preséntanse as primeiras citas galegas para dez especies de formícidos: Goniomma hispanicum (André, 1883), Hypoponera punctatissima (Roger, 1859), Iberoformica subrufa (Roger, 1859), Myrmica karavajevi (Arnoldi, 1930), Myrmica spinosior Santschi, 1931, Myrmica xavieri Radchenko, Elmes & Savolainen, 2008, Plagiolepis taurica Santschi, 1920, Stenamma debile (Förster, 1850), Temnothorax aveli (Bondroit, 1918) e Tetramorium alpestre Steiner, Schlick-Steiner & Seifert, 2010. Destaca la presencia de M. karavajevi, por ser a segunda cita ibérica para esta parasita social, e atoparse infestada polo raro fungo parasito Hormiscium myrmecophilum Thaxter, 1914. Ademais, coméntanse caracteres útiles á hora de identificalas.

Abstract: The first Galician records for ten ant species are presented: Goniomma hispanicum (André, 1883), Hypoponera punctatissima (Roger, 1859), Iberoformica subrufa (Roger, 1859), Myrmica karavajevi (Arnoldi, 1930), Myrmica spinosior Santschi, 1931, Myrmica xavieri Radchenko, Elmes & Savolainen, 2008, Plagiolepis taurica Santschi, 1920, Stenamma debile (Förster, 1850), Temnothorax aveli (Bondroit, 1918), and Tetramorium alpestre Steiner, Schlick-Steiner & Seifert, 2010. The occurrence of M. karavajevi is highlighted, for being the second Iberian record for this social parasite, and being found infested by the rare parasite fungus Hormiscium myrmecophilum Thaxter, 1914. Some useful characters for identification purposes are discussed.
