Resumen: Se presenta un catálogo faunístico actualizado de la familia Rhopalidae Amyot & Serville, 1843 (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Coreoidea) en la Península Ibérica e islas Baleares. En él se recopilan todas las citas previas encontradas en la bibliografía disponible y también se aportan algunas citas inéditas para un total de 23 especies pertenecientes a esta familia. Cabe destacar la aportación de las primeras citas de la familia para Asturias y de Stictopleurus punctatonervosus (Goeze, 1778) para Portugal.

Abstract: An updated faunistic catalogue of the family Rhopalidae Amyot & Serville, 1843 (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Coreoidea) in the Iberian Peninsula and Balearic Islands is presented. All the previous records from the available literature are compiled and some unpublished records are also reported for a total account of 23 species within this family. It is noteworthy the report of the first records of the family for Asturias and Stictopleurus punctatonervosus (Goeze, 1778) for Portugal.

Resumen: Se cita por primera vez para España Xenopathia novaki (Rebel, 1891) (Lepidoptera: Blastobasidae), gracias a la captura de algunos ejemplares en la provincia de Almería. Se revisa y actualiza la distribución actual de esta especie.

Abstract:  Xenopathia novaki (Rebel, 1891) (Lepidoptera: Blastobasidae) is reported for the first time for Spain, by means of the capture of some individuals in the province of Almería. The current distribution of this species is reviewed and updated.

Abstract: The male of the very rare Archicera avarorum Szilády, 1934 (Diptera: Rhagionidae) is described and the species is recorded from Spain for the first time. Furthermore, another rhagionid, Ptiolina obscura (Fallén, 1814), is also recorded from Spain for the first time and new figures of its male genitalia are given.

Resumen: Se describe el macho del rarísimo Archicera avarorum Szilády, 1934 (Diptera: Rhagionidae) y la especie se cita de España por primera vez. Además, también se cita por primera vez de España otro ragiónido, Ptiolina obscura (Fallén, 1814), y se dan figuras nuevas de su genitalia masculina.

Resumo: Apresentamos novos dados para o conhecimento dos Aleocharini Fleming, 1821 portugueses com comentários sobre a sua distribuição geográfica e notas ecológicas das espécies assinaladas até ao presente momento para Portugal. O subgénero Tinotus Sharp, 1883 e a espécie Aleochara (Aleochara) lata Gravenhorst, 1802 são referenciadas como novos para o país.

Abstract: A taxonomic study of the Portuguese Aleocharini Fleming, 1821 is presented with comments on their geographic distribution and ecological notes about the species recorded up to now from Portugal. The subgenus Tinotus Sharp, 1883 and the species Aleochara (Aleochara) lata Gravenhorst, 1802 are newly reported from the country.

Resumen: Se comenta la información previa sobre la presencia de Nemausus sordidatus (Stål, 1858) (Hemiptera: Alydidae) en Portugal continental y se registra la especie de la primera localidad concreta para el país. Se resume la distribución mundial e ibérica de la especie y se incluye un mapa que sintetiza el conocimiento sobre la distribución de la especie en la Península Ibérica.

Resumen: Durante el periodo 2010-2020 se prospectaron las 104 cuadrículas UTM de 10x10 km que componen la provincia de Palencia para elaborar el atlas de distribución de mariposas diurnas de dicha provincia. Se obtuvieron 36.883 registros de 162 especies, además de recopilarse 3.101 citas bibliográficas o de otros autores correspondientes al periodo 1920-2009. Se citan por primera vez para la provincia de Palencia diez especies: Spialia rosae Hernández-Roldán, Dapporto, Dincã, Vicente & Vila, 2016, Leptidea reali Reissinger, 1990, Euchloe tagis (Hübner, 1804), Phengaris alcon (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775), Phengaris arion (Linnaeus, 1758), Iolana debilitata (Schultz, 1905), Cupido alcetas (Hoffmannsegg, 1804), Apatura ilia (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775), Melanargia ines (Hoffmannsegg, 1804) y Arethusana arethusa (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775). Tras su revisión, se han eliminado ocho especies con citas antiguas en la provincia, al considerar que se trataba de errores de identificación o etiquetado. Son las siguientes: Agriades pyrenaicus (Boisduval, 1840), Lysandra hispana (Herrich-Schäffer, 1852), Polyommatus nivescens Keferstein, 1851, Limenitis camilla (Linnaeus, 1764), Melitaea diamina (Lang, 1789), Hipparchia fagi (Scopoli, 1763), Erebia albergana (de Prunner, 1798) y Erebia pronoe (Esper, [1780]). Por último, se aportan nuevos datos para la provincia de Palencia de diez especies de mariposas diurnas cuya distribución es escasa en España: Colias phicomone (Esper, 1780), Phengaris nausithous (Bergsträsser, 1779), Pseudophilotes baton (Bergsträsser, 1779), Scolitantides orion (Pallas, 1771), Eumedonia eumedon (Esper, 1780), Polyommatus daphnis (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775), Boloria eunomia (Esper, 1799), Erebia gorge (Hübner, 1804), Erebia epistygne (Hübner, 1819) y Erebia lefebvrei (Boisduval, 1828). La actualización de la lista patrón de mariposas diurnas eleva a 166 el número de especies presentes en la provincia de Palencia, cuatro de ellas con registros anteriores al año 2010: Euchloe belemia (Esper, 1800), Phengaris arion, Libythea celtis (Laicharting, 1782) y Melanargia ines.

Abstract: During the period 2010-2020, surveys were conducted in the 104 10x10 km UTM grid squares of the Palencia province in order to elaborate a diurnal butterfly distribution atlas. A total of 36,883 records of 162 species were obtained during fieldwork and were complemented with 3,101 bibliographic records or from other authors for the period 1920-2009. Ten species are reported for the first time in the province of Palencia: Spialia rosae Hernández-Roldán, Dapporto, Dincã, Vicente & Vila, 2016, Leptidea reali Reissinger, 1990, Euchloe tagis (Hübner, 1804), Phengaris alcon (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775), Phengaris arion (Linnaeus, 1758), Iolana debilitata (Schultz, 1905), Cupido alcetas (Hoffmannsegg, 1804), Apatura ilia (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775), Melanargia ines (Hoffmannsegg, 1804) and Arethusana arethusa (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775). After revision, eight species with old records in the province have been eliminated, as they were considered to be misidentified or mislabeled. The species discarded were the following: Agriades pyrenaicus (Boisduval, 1840), Lysandra hispana (Herrich-Schäffer, 1852), Polyommatus nivescens Keferstein, 1851, Limenitis camilla (Linnaeus, 1764), Melitaea diamina (Lang, 1789), Hipparchia fagi (Scopoli, 1763), Erebia albergana (de Prunner, 1798) and Erebia pronoe (Esper, [1780]). Finally, new data are provided for the Palencia province of ten scarce and restricted butterflies species in Spain: Colias phicomone (Esper, 1780), Phengaris nausithous (Bergsträsser, 1779), Pseudophilotes baton (Bergsträsser, 1779), Scolitantides orion (Pallas, 1771), Eumedonia eumedon (Esper, 1780), Polyommatus daphnis (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775), Boloria eunomia (Esper, 1799), Erebia gorge (Hübner, 1804), Erebia epistygne (Hübner, 1819) and Erebia lefebvrei (Boisduval, 1828). The updated checklist of butterflies brings up to 166 the number of species known to occur in the Palencia province, including four species recorded before 2010: Euchloe belemia (Esper, 1800), Phengaris arion, Libythea celtis (Laicharting, 1782) and Melanargia ines.

Resumen: Se documenta la primera observación de Anax parthenope (Sélys, 1839) (Odonata, Aeshnidae) en la provincia de León (NO de España), que permanecía como la única de la Comunidad Autónoma de Castilla y León de donde no había sido citada hasta ahora su presencia.

Abstract: The distribution of the species Apatura iris (Linnaeus, 1758) and Apatura ilia ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775) (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae) is enlarged with new locations in the Autonomous Community of La Rioja (Spain). Pictures and distribution maps of these two species of a scarcely reported genus in this region are also presented.

Resumen: Se estudia un grupo de especies afines del género Cebrio Olivier, 1790 de la Península Ibérica, encuadradas en el subgénero Tibesia Leach, 1824: C. (T.) carrenii Graells, 1846, C. (T.) moyses Fairmaire, 1852, C. (T.) bruleriei Heyden, 1870 y C. (T.) apicalis Chevrolat, 1882. Del análisis de los tipos y del abundante material estudiado se concluye que todas ellas corresponden a la misma especie, por lo que, aplicando el criterio de prioridad, deben denominarse C. (T.) carrenii Graells, 1846, pasando el resto de los taxones a ser sinonimias. Se designa neotipo para C. (T.) apicalis Chevrolat, 1882. Se redescribe C. (T.) carrenii Graells, 1846, aportando datos sobre su variabilidad y distribución.

Abstract: A group of allied species of the genus Cebrio Olivier, 1790 of the Iberian Peninsula, belonging to the subgenus Tibesia Leach, 1824, is studied: C. (T.) carrenii Graells, 1846, C. (T.) moyses Fairmaire, 1852, C. (T.) bruleriei Heyden, 1870, and C. (T.) apicalis Chevrolat, 1882. After analyzing the type and the abundant material studied it is concluded that all of them correspond to the same species, so applying the priority criterion, should be referred to as C. (T.) carrenii Graells, 1846, becoming synonymies the rest of the taxa. A neotype is designated for C. (T.) apicalis Chevrolat, 1882. C. (T.) carrenii Graells, 1846 is redescribed, providing data on its variability and distribution.

Resumen: El redúvido Zelus renardii Kolenati, 1857 (Hemiptera: Reduviidae) ha experimentado en pocos años una importante expansión y colonización de zonas urbanas de España peninsular. En estos entornos se han detectado casos de picaduras en personas, lo cual tiene una implicación para la salud. Se presenta una recopilación de casos detectados de picaduras, sus circunstancias y las posibles causas.

Abstract: The reduviid Zelus renardii Kolenati, 1857 (Hemiptera: Reduviidae) has shown, in a few years, a significant expansion and colonization of urban areas in mainland Spain. Cases of bites on people have been detected in these places, which has an implication for health. A compilation of detected cases of bites, their circumstances and possible causes is presented.

Resumen: Se confirma la presencia en Galicia (España, noroeste de la Península Ibérica) del mántido Perlamantis alliberti Guérin-Méneville, 1843 (Mantodea, Amorphoscelididae) gracias a la captura de varios ejemplares en el P.N. da Serra da Enciña e da Lastra. La especie había sido citada a partir de un único ejemplar fotografiado a la luz de una farola. Se revisa su actual distribución en el territorio ibérico. Se analiza brevemente la ecología y la fenología de la especie.

Abstract: The presence in Galicia (Spain, northwest of the Iberian Peninsula) of the mantid Perlamantis alliberti Guérin-Méneville, 1843 (Mantodea, Amorphoscelididae) is confirmed, based on the capture of several specimens in the P.N. da Serra da Enciña e da Lastra. The species had been reported by means of a single specimen photographed nearby a streetlight. Its current distribution in the Iberian territory is reviewed. The ecology and phenology of the species are briefly analyzed.

Abstract: The first catalogue of the insect fauna of the Parque das Serras do Porto (northern Portugal) is presented, including a compilation of literature records and new data mainly obtained in Couce (Valongo). The catalogue contains 210 species (101, or 48.1%, recorded for the first time from the area) spanning nine orders of the class Insecta, and is the first comprehensive list of the area’s entomofauna.

El catálogo contiene 210 especies (101, o 48.1%, registradas por primera vez de la zona) de nueve ordenes de la clase Insecta y constituye el primer listado exhaustivo de la entomofauna del área.

Resumen: Se cita por primera vez Stenus (Hypostenus) solutus Erichson, 1840 (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Steninae) para la fauna ibérica, tras el estudio de doce ejemplares del Alto do Acevo (Lugo, Galicia). Se representa su distribución geográfica. Se incluyen fotografías de caracteres exclusivos y se compara su edeago con esquemas de otros autores. Se comentan sus preferencias ecológicas y biológicas por humedales. En la misma localidad también se han recogido otras doce especies de Stenus Latreille, 1797, de las cuales cuatro constituyen primeras citas para Galicia y una para España.

Abstract: Stenus (Hypostenus) solutus Erichson, 1840 (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Steninae) is reported for the first time for the Iberian fauna, after the study of twelve specimens from Alto do Acevo (Lugo, Galicia). Its geographical distribution is represented. Photographs of exclusive characters are included and its aedeagous is compared with diagrams by other authors. Its ecological and biological preferences for wetlands are discussed. Twelve other species of Stenus Latreille, 1797 have also been collected in the same locality, of which four are first records for Galicia and one for Spain.

Resumen: Se presenta un estudio de los tisanópteros (Insecta: Thysanoptera) de dos enclaves gallegos de gran relevancia y reconocimiento botánico como son el abedular de Montederramo (Ourense) y el complejo dunar de A Lanzada (Pontevedra). De cada uno de ellos se establece el perfil tisanopterológico que lo caracteriza, delimitando su inventario de especies y aportando datos concretos de las plantas hospedantes. En el caso del complejo dunar de A Lanzada, se han encontrado veinte especies de las que Chirothrips pallidicornis Priesner, 1925 supone la primera cita para la fauna española. En cuanto al abedular de Montederramo, se han encontrado diecisiete especies de thrips: un género, Rhaphidothrips Uzel, 1895, y dos especies, Rhaphidothrips longistylosus Uzel, 1895 y Chirothrips insularis Hood, 1938, también han resultado ser nuevas para España. Adicionalmente, en el caso de A Lanzada, los géneros Apterygothrips Priesner, 1933 y Cephalothrips Uzel, 1895, junto a siete especies: Apterygothrips neolongiceps Johansen & Mojica, 1993, Bolothrips insularis (Bagnall, 1914), Cephalothrips monilicornis (Reuter, 1880), Frankliniella occidentalis (Pergande, 1895), Tenothrips frici (Uzel, 1895), Haplothrips gallarum Priesner, 1950 y Haplothrips quercinus Priesner, 1950, son mencionadas por primera vez en Galicia.

Abstract: In this paper, a study of the thrips (Insecta: Thysanoptera) of Galician sites of great relevance and botanical significance such as the birch forest of Montederramo (Ourense) and the dune complex of A Lanzada (Pontevedra), is presented. Thysanoptera profile of each ecosystem is determined by their species inventory, contributing with specific data of the host plants. Regarding the dune complex of A Lanzada, twenty species have been found, Chirothrips pallidicornis Priesner, 1925 is reported for the first time for the Spanish fauna. Regarding the birch forest of Montederramo, seventeen species of thrips have been found. From those, one genus Rhaphidothrips Uzel, 1895, and two species Rhaphidothrips longistylosus Uzel, 1895 and Chirothrips insularis Hood, 1938, are new records for Spain. Moreover, in the case of A Lanzada, the genera Apterygothrips Priesner, 1933 and Cephalothrips Uzel, 1895, along with seven species: Apterygothrips neolongiceps Johansen & Mojica, 1993, Bolothrips insularis (Bagnall, 1914), Cephalothrips monilicornis (Reuter, 1880), Frankliniella occidentalis (Pergande, 1895), Tenothrips frici (Uzel, 1895), Haplothrips gallarum Priesner, 1950 and Haplothrips quercinus Priesner, 1950, have been recorded in Galicia for the first time.

Resumen: Se comunica la primera cita de Euphydryas desfontainii (Godart, 1819) (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae) del Parque Natural Sierras Subbéticas, en el sur de la provincia de Córdoba (España). La presencia de esta especie en otras partes de la provincia es bastante cuestionable.

Resumen: A fin de complementar el conocimiento existente sobre la presencia en la Península Ibérica y Baleares de las tres especies incluidas actualmente dentro del género Myrmechixenus Chevrolat, 1835 (Coleoptera, Tenebrionidae, Diaperinae), se dan a conocer datos adicionales procedentes de trabajos antiguos reiteradamente omitidos en artículos recientes.

Abstract: In order to supplement the existing knowledge on the occurrence in the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearics of the three species so far included within the genus Myrmechixenus Chevrolat, 1835 (Coleoptera, Tenebrionidae, Diaperinae), additional data from ancient papers repeatedly disregarded in recent articles are presented.

Resumen: Se comunica por primera vez la presencia de Adistemia watsoni (Wollaston, 1871) (Coleoptera: Latridiidae) en la provincia de Madrid (España). Los ejemplares fueron localizados en el interior de un edificio de la ciudad de Madrid.

Abstract: The first record of Adistemia watsoni (Wollaston, 1871) (Coleoptera: Latridiidae) in the province of Madrid (Spain) is presented. The specimens were located inside a building in the city of Madrid.

Resumen: Se evidencia que una pretendida ”primera cita fidedigna” del ninfálido Euphydryas desfontainii (Godart, 1819)  para la provincia de Córdoba (Andalucía, España) se trata en realidad de la tercera para ese territorio. Se incluyen breves comentarios sobre la también pretendida confusión de dicha especie con Euphydryas aurinia (Rottemburg, 1775), así como de otros asuntos concernientes a este caso.

Abstract: It is proved that an alleged “first reliable record” of the nymphalid butterfly Euphydryas desfontainii (Godart, 1819) for the province of Córdoba (Andalusia, Spain) really means the third one for that territory. Brief comments on the so-called confusion of that species with Euphydryas aurinia (Rottemburg, 1775), as well as other matters concerning to this case are also included.

Abstract: This paper reviews the knowledge on the snakefly Fibla (Fibla) hesperica Navás, 1915 (Raphidioptera, Inocelliidae) in Portugal. The dataset obtained comprises two previous records from literature, four unpublished records from the period 1996-1999 and four additional records from the period 2008-2021 retrieved from the online platform BioDiversity4All. The known distribution of Fibla (Fibla) hesperica in Portugal is significantly improved, with northern and southern extensions, by means of three new districts added to the two previously known and the first localities within a Nature Reserve and two Natura 2000 sites.

Resumen: En este estudio se presenta una revisión del conocimiento sobre el rafidióptero Fibla (Fibla) hesperica Navás, 1915 (Raphidioptera, Inocelliidae) en Portugal. La información obtenida incluye dos registros bibliográficos previos, cuatro nuevos registros del periodo 1996-1999 y cuatro registros adicionales del periodo 2008-2021 obtenidos de la plataforma online BioDiversity4All. La distribución conocida de Fibla (Fibla) hesperica en Portugal se amplía significativamente hacia el norte y el sur, gracias a tres nuevos distritos que se suman a los dos previamente conocidos y las primeras localidades en un Parque Natural y dos sitios Natura 2000.

Resumen: Se aporta una nueva cita de Trox perrisii Fairmaire, 1868 (Coleoptera: Trogidae) para la Península Ibérica, en la provincia de Alicante, siendo la primera para el sureste ibérico. Se presenta un mapa con la distribución ibérica actualizada, así como foto del ejemplar y su hábitat.

Abstract: A new record of Trox perrisii Fairmaire, 1868 (Coleoptera: Trogidae) is provided for the Iberian Peninsula, in the province of Alicante, being the first one for the Iberian southeast. A map with the updated Iberian distribution is presented, as well as a photo of the specimen and its habitat.

Abstract: Campylomma miyamotoi Yasunaga, 2001, an alien plant bug species (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Miridae) associated to the Persian silk tree Albizia julibrissin Durazz, 1772 (Fabaceae), is recorded for the first time in the Iberian Peninsula. Described from Japan, it is also found in Korea. The species was recently reported for the first time from Turkey. This Iberian record is the first one in Europe and the second one out of its native distribution range, and spreads the presence of C. miyamotoi largely westwards within the Palaearctic area.

Resumen: Campylomma miyamotoi Yasunaga, 2001, una especie exótica de mírido (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Miridae) asociada al árbol de la seda Albizia julibrissin Durazz, 1772 (Fabaceae), se registra por primera vez en la Península Ibérica. Descrita de Japón, también se encuentra en Corea. La especie fue señalada recientemente por primera vez de Turquía. Este registro ibérico es el primero de Europa y el segundo fuera de su ámbito geográfico nativo, y extiende ampliamente la presencia de C. miyamotoi hacia el extremo occidental del área paleártica.

Resumen: Se presenta la primera entrega de un trabajo faunístico sobre los Carabidae (Coleoptera) del valle de Lemos (Lugo, N.O. de la Península ibérica). Se describe el área estudiada y se aportan datos bibliográficos, faunísticos y corológicos de 16 especies pertenecientes a las subfamilias Nebriinae, Carabinae, Cicindelinae y Scaritinae.

Abstract: The first part of a faunistic work on the Carabidae (Coleoptera) of the Lemos valley (Lugo, NW of the Iberian Peninsula) is presented. The studied area is described and bibliographic, faunistic and chorological data of 16 species belonging to the subfamilies Nebriinae, Carabinae, Cicindelinae and Scaritinae are provided.

Abstract: The first records of the European wool carder bee Anthidium manicatum (Linnaeus, 1758) (Hymenoptera: Megachilidae) from the island of Madeira (Portugal) are reported. The species was observed and photographed in an urban park in Funchal in 2021.

Abstract: Temnothorax pardoi (Tinaut, 1987) (Hymenoptera, Formicidae) is an ant species of the Western Palaearctic, mainly distributed in the Iberian Peninsula. Eighteen new records of the species are presented for Galicia, where it is abundant and occurs in its four provinces.

Ademais faise un resumo da súa bioloxía e represéntanse nun mapa as súas citas ibéricas. Rexístranse tamén da mesma localidade outras especies de formigas, algunha delas de interese para a fauna galega.

Abstract: A new record for the Mediterranean ant Temnothorax recedens (Nylander, 1856) in the valley of the River Sil (Ourense) is presented. In addition, a summary of its biology is made and its Iberian records are represented in a map. Some other species of ants are also recorded from the same locality, some of them of interest to the Galician fauna.

Resumen: Se registra por primera vez la presencia de Cnemeplatia atropos Costa, 1847 (Coleoptera, Tenebrionidae) en la Comunidad Autónoma de Madrid. Cnemeplatia rufa Tournier, 1874 y C. atropos se tratan aquí como especies diferentes siguiendo la propuesta de Ferrer et al., que aparentemente no es tenida en cuenta en la reciente versión del catálogo paleártico de Tenebrionoidea.

Abstract: The occurrence of Cnemeplatia atropos Costa, 1847 (Coleoptera, Tenebrionidae) in the Autonomous Community of Madrid is reported for the first time. Cnemeplatia rufa Tournier, 1874 and C. atropos are treated here as different species following the proposal by Ferrer et al., seemingly not taken in consideration in the recent version of the palaeartic catalog of Tenebrionoidea.

Abstract: New occurrence records in the Iberian Peninsula of Vespa orientalis Linnaeus, 1771 (Hymenoptera: Vespidae: Vespinae) are given based on photographed material posted on the iNaturalist website. The first record from Gibraltar is reported, whilst the occurrence of an established population in Cádiz and Málaga provinces is confirmed.

Resumen: Se aportan nuevas citas del avispón oriental Vespa orientalis Linnaeus, 1771 (Hymenoptera: Vespidae: Vespinae) en la Península Ibérica a partir de material fotográfico obtenido en la plataforma online iNaturalist. La especie se registra por primera vez en Gibraltar, mientras se confirma una población aclimatada en las provincias de Cádiz y de Málaga.

Resumen: Se recopilan datos faunísticos de cuatro especies de la familia Aradidae Brullé, 1836 (Hemiptera: Heteroptera) en Galicia (N.O. de la Península Ibérica). Dos de ellas, Aneurus (Aneurodes) avenius (Dufour, 1833) y Aradus (Aradus) cinnamomeus Panzer, 1806, se citan de Galicia por primera vez.

Abstract: Faunistic data of four species belonging to the family Aradidae Brullé, 1836 (Hemiptera: Heteroptera) in Galicia (NW Iberian Peninsula) are compiled. Two of them, Aneurus (Aneurodes) avenius (Dufour, 1833) and Aradus (Aradus) cinnamomeus Panzer, 1806, are recorded from Galicia for the first time.

Resumen: La araña Steatoda nobilis (Thorell, 1875) (Araneae, Therididae) está experimentando una dramática expansión de su rango de distribución nativo, habiéndose establecido en diversos lugares alrededor del mundo, entre ellos la Península Ibérica. Se reporta la segunda cita de la especie para la comunidad de Madrid, donde probablemente ya se encuentre establecida. Se estima muy necesario continuar reportando avistamientos de forma que existan datos actualizados sobre su expansión, así como de sus posibles efectos sobre la biota nativa.

Abstract: The spider Steatoda nobilis (Thorell, 1875) (Araneae, Therididae) is showing a dramatic expansion of its native distribution range, having established in various places around the world, including the Iberian Peninsula. The second record of the species is reported for the community of Madrid, where probably it is already established. It is considered very necessary to continue reporting sightings so that there is updated data on their expansion, as well as their possible effects on the native biota.

Resumen: Se revisan los Coreoidea y Pyrrhocoroidea (Hemiptera) de la colección Pardo Alcaide depositada en el Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales de Madrid (CSIC). Se estudian 66 ejemplares procedentes del norte de África que permanecían inéditos, pertenecientes a las familias Alydidae, Coreidae, Rhopalidae y Stenocephalidae (Coreoidea) y Pyrrhocoridae (Pyrrhocoroidea), en su mayoría recolectados en la primera mitad del siglo XX.

Abstract: The Coreoidea and Pyrrhocoroidea (Hemiptera) from the Pardo Alcaide collection at the Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales de Madrid (CSIC) are revised. 66 specimens from North Africa that remained unpublished, belonging to the families Alydidae, Coreidae, Rhopalidae and Stenocephalidae (Coreoidea) and Pyrrhocoridae (Pyrrhocoroidea), mostly collected in the first half of the twentieth century, are studied.
